We can assist you as much, or as little, as you need. Our staff will gladly plan your entire trip, including transportation, lodging, meals, attractions, meeting rooms, etc. We will send one of our professional driver/escort teams to assure everything is taken care of for you, including your luggage. You have the option of choosing any tour from our catalog, or custom designing one that specifically fits the needs of your group. What is a Toby Tours Group Leader? A Toby Tours Group Leader is a select individual in a club, organization or group that takes responsibility for promoting one-day and overnight tours.
What does a Group Leader have to do? Once the group reaches a decision on what tours to take, the Group Leader meets with the Group Coordinator from our office to set up dates, itineraries, payment deadlines, etc. Following are the Group Leader requirements: 1. Fill out the Group Leader packet completely and accurately. We require full names, addresses, and phone numbers of all passengers on one-day and overnight tours. 2. Collect and submit all deposits/rooming list/final payments to our office by the required deadlines (90 days on deposits and 45 days on balance). 3. Distribute itineraries and luggage tags to passengers prior to trip’s departure.
What are the advantages to being a Toby Tours Group Leader? Group Leaders are important to Toby Tours and we want you to know it! Our Group Leaders provide the opportunity for travelers who aren’t familiar with our company to travel and get to know us. We appreciate that and like to show our appreciation by offering certain benefits to Group Leaders. In addition to the Comp Policy, we offer at least one Group Leader Fam Tour each year for our most productive Group Leaders. We also recognize our Group Leaders with trips, awards and prizes! We also send out a quarterly newsletter to keep everyone informed. In return for meeting the above requirements Toby Tours will reward you with a complimentary (comp) trips) according to our current Comp Tour Policy! Comp Policy is as follows: • Two comps per 40 paid passengers. (41st and 42nd are free) • One comp per 30 paid passengers. (31st is free) • If your group reserves a minimum of 20 paid seats on one of our tours and travels along with our customers, there will be a 50% Discount. • Effective January 1, 2007 there is an additional fee on one day tours for groups outside 80 miles radius of Louisville, KY.
In addition with a minimum of 30 paid passengers: • Group Leaders will receive Toby Bucks in the amount of the overnight double price, or the one day price of the completed tour with a minimum of 30 paid**to be applied toward any tour offered by Toby Tours. **Excludes casino tours. • Group Leaders who have five or more 3+ days tours in 2010 will receive a 7 day Vacaion. • Group Leaders who have five or more 1 or 2 day tours in 2010 will receive a 3 day Vacation.
We would like to introduce our new Group Leader Quarterly Luncheons: January 28, 2010 April 29, 2010 July 29, 2010 Oct 28, 2010 $10. per person and will include lunch, drink, and dessert. This will be a great time to come together to share ideas and talk about new tour destinations. Call our Group Leader Department for more details.
