Today we begin our journey to the “Sunshine State” of Florida.  We will stop for lunch in Manchester, Tennessee.  After lunch, we will travel through the state of Georgia and spend the night in Perry, Georgia.

This morning, we will have a full breakfast (included). Our morning break is at the Florida Welcome Center where we will have a taste of some of Florida’s fresh Orange Juice.  After lunch in Jacksonville, Florida, we will meet our step on guide for a guided tour of St. Augustine, Florida.  We will spend the night in St. Augustine.

Today, we will travel to Daytona Beach for our morning break and then on to visit the Kennedy Space Center and enjoy the multimedia presentation of IMAX.  We will overnight at Merritt Island, Florida.

This morning we travel to Palm Beach, Florida, where we will visit Henry Flagler’s Whitehall, the Flagler Museum.  This afternoon, we will continue on to Florida City, Florida, where we will spend the next two nights.

This morning we will travel South through the Florida Keys on our way to Key West, the Southern most point in the U.S. We will enjoy a Conch Train Tour of the island and have time after lunch to enjoy the Island shops and attractions.  This evening, we will return to Florida City.

This morning we will take the Everglades Parkway, “Alligator Alley” across Florida.  We will enjoy an air-boat ride before traveling on to Fort Myers where we will spend two nights.

This morning we will visit the winter home of Thomas Edison.  It served as a winter retreat and work place for the prolific inventor until his death in 1931.  This evening, fireworks will light up the night as we watch the Edison Festival of Light Grand Parade from our reserved seats.  Same Hotel

This morning we will travel to St. Pete Beach, we will travel over the Skyway Bridge.  We will visit John’s Pass for lunch (not included) and some shopping before checking into our hotel on the beach.  We will spend the next two nights at the Beachcomber Resort.

Today is a leisure day on the beach.  Tonight we will offer an optional side trip to “The Roaring 20’s”, where you can enjoy dinner (not included) pizza and pasta, and listen to the fantastic music played on the Wurlitzer Organ.

Before saying goodbye to Florida, we will visit Plant City, the Winter Strawberry Capitol of the World, to purchase those bags of Oranges and Grapefruit to take home.  While here you might like to enjoy large helping of Strawberry shortcake.  We will make a stop at Tifton, Georgia to purchase pecans and then continue to Perry, GA, where we will spend the night.

Today after a full breakfast (included), we will come full circle as we travel through Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky, arriving back home in Louisville this evening.
